Laurie has over 40 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist and 20+ years as an educator in the profession. Before Massage Therapy, she was a Recreation Therapist, with a Bachelor of Recreation Education, a dance teacher and a Pilates fitness instructor. She is committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental environment while delivering the highest quality in patient care. Her clinical practice focuses on pain and stress management, using relaxation and Hot Stone as a framework within her treatments to calm the nervous system and promote parasympathetic responses. Her approach to massage is gentle, intentional and rooted in nervous system care.
