Registered Acupuncturist, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Terri Lukyn is a registered acupuncturist in the province of British Columbia. She did her training in Victoria BC with Dr. Wally Mui at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she earned her Diploma as Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, (2002). She went onto further her training and education with multiple practicums in China. In 2005, she launched her own private clinic in Squamish and now brings years of clinical knowledge, expertise, and passion to the health team at Columbia Integrated Health centre. She is passionate about helping others achieve better health and wellness and in 2010, Terri worked on Athletes at the Olympics in Whistler BC. For Acute or Chronic pain, she is the go-to acupuncturist in Squamish since 2003. Terri went to New York in August of 2018 and trained under Ann Cecil-Sterman learning advanced acupuncture protocols. Her scope of practice includes treatments aimed at alleviating a myriad of musculoskeletal disorders as well as gastro-intestinal, uro-genital, and respiratory conditions. She has advanced knowledge of herbology and uses the highest quality patent formulas.
Terri grew up in East Richmond and enjoyed horses and cows, often showing both at the PNE. She is an avid swimmer, passionate skier and dedicated hiker. Terri commercial fished with her family out of Steveston, BC, for 14 years before having starting a family. She enjoyed working in Communications with DFO at the Pacific Biological Station where she was a public liaison before studying Chinese Medicine as a career choice. We are excited to have Terri bring her passion and advanced knowledge and clinical expertise to Columbia Integrated Health Centre.
