Ferdinand is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. He was trained in a variety of techniques including Swedish, Deep tissue and Sports massage. Ferdinand was in the Class Honour Roll throughout the entire program and upon graduation was given the Award of Distinction and Recognition. Ferdinand worked for several years at a naturopathic clinic before becoming an RMT. His passion for sports, interest in human anatomy and physiology, and exposure to the healing arts has led him to the career of massage therapy. Ferdinand is a seasoned triathlete, competing in both Ironman and Xterra off-road events. He regularly joins Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k races. He also trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ferdinand believes that joining athletic events gives him a better understanding of patient’s conditions and therapeutic needs. Adding to his credentials, he is also a Graston® Technique Preferred Provider, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Stretching and Flexibility coach and a Registered Triathlon BC coach. His areas of interest are Sports injuries, Stretching, Deep Tissue Manual Therapy and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (Graston ®).
