Jason Kong r.ac
Jason Kong is a registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine specializing in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and licensed in British Columbia. Jason graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 2010 with a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He then worked as an attending physician in the Neurology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China for 7 years. Since immigrating to Vancouver in 2017, he has been engaged in Traditional Chinese Medicine clinical work, in addition, he is currently working as an instructor at Central College and Vancouver Career College dedicated to teaching Acupuncture and Herb.
He is passionate about helping others achieve better health and wellness through natural healing methods such as acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, etc. His scope of practice includes not only treatments aimed at alleviating pain symptoms caused by various musculoskeletal disorders, but also neurological diseases, internal diseases, gynaecological diseases and so on. In many cases, he may make nutritional and dietary recommendations to assist in the enhancement of a patients’ overall lifestyle. He brings his passion, advanced knowledge and clinical expertise to the health team at Columbia integrated health center. He is committed to using his acupuncture skills and knowledge of herbal to treat his patients in the most responsible and respectful way, helping them live healthier, more balanced lives. He is experienced at treating the following diseases by acupuncture and Chinese herb: Headache/migraine, neck/shoulder/lower back pain, sciatica, arthritis, sports injuries, chronic strain, scoliosis, trigeminal neuralgia, post-herpetic neuralgia, dizziness/vertigo, tinnitus and deafness, facial paralysis, hemifascial spasm, muscular dystrophy, insomnia, anxiety, depression, stroke sequelae, gastroenteritis, infertility, dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, breast disease, rhinitis, obesity, etc.
